GPS Recorder ("the App") is a utility for recording synchronized GPS, sensor, and video data for personal use. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.
The App accesses the following data exclusively on your device:
All recorded data is stored only on your device inside the App's local Documents folder. The App does not transmit any data to any server, cloud service, or third party. You are the sole controller of the data you record.
The App provides an optional share function that lets you export recorded files
(video.mp4 and data.jsonl.gz) via the iOS standard share sheet.
Sharing is initiated entirely by you. The App itself never shares data automatically.
The App requests the Location Always permission so that GPS recording continues uninterrupted when the App is moved to the background. Location data is used solely for logging within the current recording session.
Recorded sessions remain on your device until you delete them manually through the App's Sessions screen or the iOS Files app. The App does not retain or back up your data in any other way.
The App contains no third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting services.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
